Mobile Repair Center
You decide to take your bike out for a spin and as you’re riding across campus, trying to get to work/class on time, your bike chain breaks!
Now what?
Emory and Bicycle South have teamed up to provide a mobile repair center at two locations on campus, twice a week.
Walk, carry or otherwise move your bike to the repair center. Flat tires and minor adjustments can be handled while you wait. Headlights and other gear is also available for purchase. Need something more in depth or want a full tune-up? Drop you bike off on Wednesday and come back on Friday when the Mobile Repair Center is back on campus and pick up your two wheels.
The prices are reasonable, the service is fast and most importantly, it’s really easy.
Emory Cards, credit cards and checks are accepted payment methods for on site service and merchandise. You also have the option to pick up your repaired bike from Bicycle South too.
The mobile repair center is located in front of the Dobbs University Center (you know it as the DUC) and in front of the Student Activity and Academic Center (commonly called the SAAC), on Clairmont Campus.
Here’s the schedule for both locations weather permitting: SUMMER HOURS in effect through mid August.
Wednesday, 11:30-1:30 at: * The Dobbs University Center (DUC) from 11:30AM until 1:30PM
Friday, 4:00-5:30, at: * The Student Athletic and Academic Center (SAAC) from 4PM until 5:30PM.
