All students living in on-campus university housing now can get more than just deep discount on bikes and accessories. While supplies last all students living in on-campus university housing are eligible for a free u-lock and light package with every bike purchased through the Bike Emory website. Each purchase is also eligible for free delivery to campus.
Decatur now offers pedicabs (a tricycle cab) as an alternative way to get around downtown Decatur. Wonder if they offer rides to Emory?

The 1762 Clifton building is the test site for Fuji’s electronic pedal-assist bicycles. Bike Emory has installed the prototype fleet and they are now available for check out. The bikes, which operate on a battery pack, are stored in the charging station in the lobby of Plaza 1000.

National Bike to Work Day is Thursday, May 14 and Bike Emory and the CDC are encouraging everyone to ride their bike to work that day to show support for cycling commuters!
Join Team Emory on May 16-17, 2009 for the AIDS Vaccine 200 bike ride to support the Emory Vaccine Center’s world-renowned AIDS vaccine research. Riders and volunteers are needed. Emory will reimburse the first 50 Team Emory riders for the $75 registration fee (see details below and attached).
The Bike Share program will remain closed until Thursday morning. Bike Emory has temporarily closed the program to make improvements. Please check the Bike Share page for details on the upcoming changes beginning tomorrow.
Bike Share will be closing temporarily beginning this Friday, March 6 at 6 pm. During this time all bikes will be serviced and improved. All bikes must be returned to any Bike Share by 6 pm on this Friday, March 6.

As part of Decatur's Safe Routes to School Program, the Active Living Division will be conducting its first ever Bicycle Safety "Train The Trainers" Session at the Decatur Recreation Center on Thursday, February 26 from 6 to 8 PM.

Every wonder where you can park your bike around the city? Well wonder no longer. The Atlanta Bicycle Campaign recently launched the citywide bike rack and bike theft map. The green icons are for bike racks and the red tabs represent locations where a bike theft was reported.
