News: Bikes May Use Full Lane Signs Arrive on Clifton
The long awaited bikes “may use full lane” signs have arrived on Clifton Road.
The signs serve as reinforcement of existing law that cyclists should take the full lane when traveling on Clifton Road due to the narrow roadway lane widths.
This is the first application of the bikes “may take full lane” signage in Georgia and they are an approved sign by the Manual for Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
This sign project is a part of a larger effort by Bike Emory to improve safety on the roads leading to Emory’s campus. Bike Emory thanks the DeKalb County Transportation Office for their support of this project.
