News: Bike To Campus Day This Thursday!
Show support for cycling as a commuting choice by biking to campus on Thursday, October 29.
Bike Emory is encouraging everyone who lives, works, learns, visits and plays in the area to cycle to your campus to promote the cycling culture in the community.
In the morning, riders will meet in front of Bicycle South, located at 2098 North Decatur Road, at 8 a.m. where a free breakfast will be provided.
Cyclists will depart Bicycle South at 8:30 a.m. and ride down North Decatur Road to Clifton Road. As the group turns right onto Clifton Road, participants will head to their final destinations.
Before the ride a $25 Bicycle South gift certificate and cycling gear will be awarded to the cyclist with the longest commute and all riders can enter to win an additional $25 Bicycle South gift certificate.
A link to the flyer for the event is HERE. Please distribute electronically to your cycling networks.
Bicyclists are strongly encouraged to cycle to the start of the Bike to Campus Day event at Bicycle South (corner of Clairmont and North Decatur roads). There is VERY limited vehicular parking for this event.
Bike Emory supports safe cycling and we strongly encourage all participants in Ride To Campus Day events to wear a helmet.
See you there!
