News: Bicycle Class This Saturday

CCTMA and Atlanta Bicycle Campaign bring you Confident City Cycling (formerly known as Effective Cycling).

The Atlanta Bicycle Campaign’s Confident City Cycling courses give cyclists the confidence they need to ride safely and legally in traffic or on the trail. The course covers bicycle safety checks, fixing a flat, on-bike skills and crash avoidance techniques and includes a student manual. Learning will take place in both the classroom and on bicycles, so students should bring a bike and a helmet to the class. The class includes a practice ride so students can put their new skills to work, with frequent stops for instructor feedback.

Courses are taught by instructors certified by the League of American Bicyclists.

Recommended for adults and children above age fourteen, this fast-paced course prepares cyclists for a full understanding of vehicular cycling.

Registration is only $10*

Saturday, April 12 9:00 - 2:00 pm Emory Police Department Training Room North Decatur Building
