News: Register As A Cycling Commuter - Get Free Stuff

Do you know that there are special, university-sponsored biking incentives offered through Emory Transportation Services?

Bicyclists who are active full-time regular, active part-time regular (work a minimum of twenty hours per week), or active full-time temporary Emory University or Emory Healthcare employees whose primary work location is on the Clifton Road corridor qualify for this program.

Incentives include:

• Guaranteed Ride Home

• Cliff/Eagle Hangtag

• Flexcar membership

• More!

How to apply:

Bicyclists must complete the Bike/Walk Application Form. Forms are available at the office of Transportation Services, Clairmont Campus Deck; the Parking Office, Lowergate Deck; and at Human Resources, 1762 Clifton Rd.

Bicyclists must also submit a copy of their vehicle registration and their valid driver’s license to receive a Cliff /Eagle hangtag and they must turn in their Emory hangtags before receiving a special Cliff/Eagle hangtag.

Once all of the above criteria have been met, applicants will be notified within five (5) business days and invited to pick up their Cliff/Eagle hangtag at the Parking Office.

NOTE: Applicants may only register for one commute option Program at a time (bike, carpool, MARTA, vanpool, or walk) and only bicyclists registered through the Parking Office may benefit from the incentives offered.

    This is HOTlanta— in order to bike regularly to campus during the summer, we need showers. Can’t we get free access to WoodPEC showers in exchange for giving up our cars? thanks.
