News: Welcome to Bike Emory!

The first phase of Emory’s new bike program, Bike Emory, begins now. Emory, along with Fuji Bikes and our local partner Bicycle South designed this new program to encourage students, faculty, and staff to ride their bikes instead of driving their cars. Bike Emory is dedicated to promoting bicycling as a safe, fun, economical, efficient, environmentally-friendly and healthy transportation alternative for the Emory community.

Why Not Bike?

Bike Emory wants to make adopting the biking lifestyle as easy as possible. Together, the Bike Emory team is able to provide you with unmatched discounts on Fuji bikes as well as an incredible incentive package that will come with every bike sold (for a limited time) through bike.emory.edu.

As further incentive, the Bike Emory team will provide a Mobile Repair Center that will be available on campus every Wednesday and will be staffed by the experts from Bicycle South. For your safety, effective cycling classes will be offered and every bike that is purchased through bike.emory.edu will be automatically registered with Emory Police. For your convenience, Bike Emory will also provide two loaner bike locations that will allow faculty, staff and students to reserve a bike, similar to Emory’s popular Flexcar program, where those who do not have a car on campus can reserve one for personal use. You’ll find information on these and many more exciting features of the Bike Emory program on the website and this is just the beginning.

If you have ever considered riding a bike to campus now is the time. Why not bike?
